Recognising the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality technology as the future of interactive presentation we jumped on the chance to develop one of the first ever commercial applications for the system.
Together with UD Trucks (Volvo Group) we invited the visitors at Tokyo Motor Show to take a unique interactive virtual tour of the engine of a Quon truck. Using the Oculus Rift headset the users could discover every bolt and valve for themselves in stunning 3D - an industry first!
The UD VR installation proved very popular and the long line of curious visitors waiting for their turn was constant throughout the trade show’s full nine days.
