Nothing connects strangers faster than a shared taste in music!
Each night as dusk descended on Cannes during the Lions Festival 2014 our 80k lumen quadruple projectors began to dance across a massive 25 x 12 m banner.
A carefully designed and animated show told specific stories around people, agencies and companies using fastpaced and fun data visualisation.
What were the common denominators:
Did the conference speakers share favourite artists?
What songs did the winners party to?
Does French agencies listen to rock all day long? (No!)
Together with Spotify and B-Reel Agency we connected Cannes through music and made the data visualisation into something personal and entertaining. Every individual night had it's own theme and we custom created each module on display during the preceding day.
The audience could enjoy the Cannes musical ecosystem in real time and affect the animations through their own Spotify use.
